I agree - I thought he should have apologized to his tribe (and, possibly, to Good Russell) for flagrantly breaking the rules Jeff had just warned about. But I don't think he owed an apology to Yasmin for tackling her (and that's what I think she wanted from him).

I gotcha, and I agree.
But at the same time, he shouldn't have gone off on Yasmin's grammar and the like. And she shouldn't have arrived in Foa Foa's camp and announced that she was there to help them so that beating them in challenges to that it wouldn't feel like taking candy from a baby.
To paraphrase Shii Ann: clueless, clueless people.
ETA: About the HII RussHell found, the
strategic overview of last night's episode at Reality News Online says this:
What would help Jaison even more is if he could discover that Russell’s non-hidden immunity idol cannot help Russell. As was revealed in this episode, for it to work in a particular tribe it must be from the other tribe’s camp, which only Yasmin appears to know (then again, given her acumen, maybe not). Jaison is the only other one who knows of its existence and now who has it, so if he needed to dislodge Russell for some reason, he could bait him into it if he ever discovers this truth about hidden idols this season.
I have to say I didn't hear that point clearly made last night, but maybe I missed it. (Or maybe they're reading too much into something.)
