Thank you sooo much everyone for your replies!
They had a table set up today where you could speak to a few members that were helping to get everything going, and I had such a great conversation with one of the girls. I can definitely see myself fitting in there. It's going to work out a lot like a few of you mentioned. They'll be available to talk/give info all of this week, then next week we'll have consultations/interviews with the national staff and then we'll see who they choose to be founding members. After reading your responses, I'm so glad I did decide to go for this. I'll be sure to let everyone know how it turns out!
