It was off the record...ABC just happened to be in the wrong for broadcasting it...either way...the pres said what millions of others have said.
"Kanye is a jackass."
BTW here are some other speeches that Kanye has interrupted:

I agree. He talks too much, but we already knew that.
Apparently he hasn't realized that "off the record" means nothing for a POTUS. Anyone heard about the new controversial book from Bush's former speech writer full of "off the record" statements that he made?

That was worse because it was ON the record and in response to a reporter during a "press conference."

I'm not particularly upset about either of them... I just think Kanye's a douchebag.
I'm sure if I knew enough about Joe Wilson beyond his outburst I'd have an opinion about whether or not he's a douchebag, too.

This is all true about Kanye. The problem people are having is that this was obviously a CHILD, this was her first VMA award and he ruined the moment for her. Period. Doesn't matter if that's his schtick or what have you. And he knows better. It was tacky and rude and tasteless. Period, point blank.

Taylor Swift is 19 (going on 20 in December), which is old enough to drink and purchase ALCOHOL around these parts (and you can vote at 18 in my land).
She is a young adult, not a child.

Meh, she's still a teenager. People tend to throw "child" at anyone with a "teen" still on the end of his or her age.

Bahahahaha You know those obnoxious Facebook quizzes? I've now found one that I decided I had to take... "Where will Kanye interrupt you?"
My results: Childbirth. You love children. The best feeling you've ever had or will have is childbirth. Your kids won't even make it in the world without Kanye being there to t...ry to overshadow the moment. "Yo yo... Imma let you finish pushing in a whole minute, but you know..Jennifer Hudson had the best childbirth of all time." .

Haha one of my friends got during her Wedding
I'm pretty sure that's the only non-obnoxious quiz on facebook.
