We used to all use Vineyard Vines totes, but traditionally Bigs buy them for their Littles and the cost got outrageous. A lot of girls get twins, and they're usually buying other gifts on top of tote bags... so asking girls to buy a bag that costs $80+ wasn't working. (Note: Kappa does not allow you to require Bigs to buy ANYTHING, but pretty much everyone does of their own accord.) The bags were also too small to carry laptops and some big textbooks, so they weren't very handy for class. And, like someone else said, you couldn't see the KKG fabric design unless you got really close.

We switched over to L.L.Bean totes a few years ago - they're bigger, more durable, easier to clean and a lot cheaper. They do embroidered greek letters on special orders.

My chapter would kill me if I suggested another switch, but personally I think the new American Apparel tote with stitched letters is VERY cute... they do them here: http://somethinggreek.com/shop/shope...er+Bag&id=4044
