On some campuses, attending one org's formal rush/interview can be taboo and can look unfavorable upon an aspirant to the NPHC org in question if she has shown/plans to show interest to the NPHC org in question - can't speak for the MCG.
Usually means the same thing with NALFO and MGC organizations.
