To me, there's a difference between how their group is perceived as a whole and my friend as a person. A group will always have a "reputation," and how the public see them might just be due to certain individuals- I agree that it's not fair to call the whole group that. I have been at my school long enough to know that that, sorry to say this, is their reputation for the time i've been at school (it's their rep, doesn't mean they're all like that). the reason I brought it up is because I don't want to be in a group with that reputation. And I believe i have the right to not want to be associated with that name. I'm not making their reputation up and i don't have anything personal against anyone in the group. If you are offended by the things I said, then I am sorry for offending you.
