C'mon, you know the only reason people actually went to see that movie was to see Megan Fox run for 2 and 1/2 hours. You expected a good movie? Pssh

I have to say watching Megan Fox run in slow motion was great. I still think that the best part though was the Castle and the cake.

Yup. DH was quite pleased with that aspect of it, really LOL! We loved the first Transformers and had high hopes for this one...........sadly Michael Bay ruined it with his half naked chick explosion fest.

I've been waiting for this one for a long time. I think it starts the 14th of this month.

A must NOT see. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. A "B" rated "Men in Black".

Thanks...I have no desire to see this movie...I think after Transformers, I called this summer movie run a wash.

This has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I walked out after about an hour had gone by. Do not waste your time.

lol I know! I wanted to walk out too. I just kept saying to myself "cheerful this has got to get better, just give it a chance." Bad mistake. It sucked SO bad.

It sucked so bad that it's not even worth spending $3 bucks at blockbuster when it's available on DVD.

Actually, this is the best movie of the summer. It is a metaphor about apartheid (think District 6 in Cape Town) and humanity's inhumanity to others. It is also a cautionary tale about government supported bureaucracies (Haliburton, et cetera.)
Reviews:
"Certified Fresh" by Rotten Tomatoes http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/district_9/
3 *** by Roger Ebert
http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/...IEWS/908129987
9 Stars at IMDB
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1136608/
et cetera...
Most people who seem to be disappointed in this movie wanted a Transformers like movie, or went in expecting an action flick, while this is a drama.
Also, Men In Black was a B movie, and absolutely nothing at all like District 9. They both have aliens, that's about it.
