Thank Titchou - I figured that was the case. Is there any thing else I should know about GA rush being from out of state?

I suggest doing a search on this site for "Georgia" and you will find alot of info.
In general, recs are pretty important.
I'm not a Georgia alumna, so I can't speak to whether out of state women are at a disadvantage or not.

My daughters and I have written about 5 million recs this summer and now we'll sit back anxiously and see what happens. This year we wrote the most for Auburn. When Georgia started the HOPE Grant, which gives free tuition to instate students with a 3.0, a lot of out of state universities worried that they would lose their Georgia students but it seems like even more are going out of state now, particularly to Auburn, Bama, and Ole Miss.

University of Missouri recruitment begins on Monday, August 17th and Bid Day is Saturday, August 22nd.

Doesn't Kansas State's recruitment begin on the 17th, too? Lots of midwestern excitement coming soon, as well as what's already in progress.

Typical SEC recruitment - competitive. Out of state won't make any difference. But you do need recs for all houses...absolutely.
Keep an open mind and maximize your options (give everyone a chance). You'll find your place if you do.
