Also, I'm wondering if most of the sororities require the girls to live in a house and general prices. Anything would help... Thanks!

The sororities don't have houses due to local panhel bylaws, so that being said dues shouldn't be too much a semester maybe $300 a semester. They were talking about giving each sorority a floor in the dorms but not sure if that ever went through or not. When I was active there where 4 groups with a cap of 50 girls. Typically two ( AGD, DZ) of them would be at 55 girls while the other two ( KD, AEPhi) would be at maybe half quota. All rush events are dry anyway so partying won't be an issue. AEPhi's a jewish sorority but none of the girls in it are jewish, so keep that in mind as well.

I have nothing bad to say about my personal experience at WSU. It is mostly a commuter school but there are about 3000 students that live on or near campus, so once you get in the "know" of whats going on after class theres never a dull moment. And where did you see the painted windows, one one of the dorms or in the student center? I know each sorority had a room in the student center for there meetings and for storage.

Good to hear. I was a little concerned that, as a commuter, I wouldn't be able to get the full college experience. Did you do anything else through WSU that you'd recommend looking into?

I totally missed like 4 posts somehow...
Anyway, I'm assuming it was on a dorm building? The only building I know on campus is the Freshman dorm tower... they all live in the big ugly one, right?
But WSU is awesome b/c of the underground tunnels. I am SO jealous... I'd be 10x more motivated to go to class in the Winter with those.

I didn't know WSU had underground tunnels... They never mentioned it while at orientation during the tour. It seems like something they'd be sure to bring up. I know they emphasized on them when I visited Northern Mich.
