Also, I'm wondering if most of the sororities require the girls to live in a house and general prices. Anything would help... Thanks!
Pertaining to the bolded part, you will probably find this thread helpful. (Although it has a little bit of drama, sift through the BS and you will find some helpful information on drinking when it comes to Greek life and college in general).

ETA: The OP in the thread I referred you to is claiming that Greeks go through a lot of seminars about drinking and drugs, yet still partake in it. However, if you read a little while down, you will find that a lot of women in sororities state how some of their sisters do not drink, and it does not affect their experience with the sorority what-so-ever. Bottom line: There are drinkers in every situation. But, there are also non-drinkers. These women on this thread have stated that your sisters will accept you no matter your stance on drinking (unless you're a raging alcoholic ).

Thank you for responding. That's more or less what I was curious about... Whether I'd fit in well. You're right though, there's bound to be people for and against it in the house so it shouldn't be hard to make friends.
