Report say it might be a suicide bombings and I have a feeling the intel community here will zero in at the usual suspects. Hopefully they'll break some skulls. People here are literally pissed off and some people have formed vigilante group to go after fanatic groups.
Glad you're alright. Vigilante justice can be an awful thing. Here in OKC, following our bombing, there were murders and beatings of innocent Muslims after the federal building was bombed.

Seems the backlash has been quick and severe. 3 shot dead by the cops, and score of people arrested. A magazine and a website shut down. That's by the government.

The people themselves have also reacted angrily. Mosque that were teaching Wahabis doctrine were closed down by the people and preachers who advocated terrorism were now yelled down and most of them have retreated.

Even political parties that had members who supported these fanatics are scrambling to get rid of those members.

They still interview former terrorists on tv, but now those members are always being watched by the intel community. One of them complain that he can't even go to the toilet without seeing new faces just staring at him.

There was a new conference by a suspected terrorsit and his lawyers at a local mosque. The local people got angry that he used a mosque and literally shut down the conference and told the suspect that he is no longer welcome in the community.

One of the suicide bomber was a teenager. His parents was shocked and obviously pissed at the group. The mom went on national tv and called Noordin M Top, the leader of Jemaah Islamiyah, a coward who needs to be shot in the head. While his older brother apologized for the action and called anyone who supported the action an idiot.

I knew there were attacks, but I'm surprised to see you claim "murders." Is this stuff that didn't make the national news?

I'm pretty sure I recall one young man was killed near my undergrad institution. Of course, this was a (relatively) long time ago.

I don't know if it's what you're thinking about, but I remember a Sikh being murdered after 9/11 because the murder thought he was a Muslim.

Kevin, I'm just curious. Where were you when the OKC bombing took place? Did you hear it when it happened? Did you see it after it happened?

Oops, just realized that Kevin was talking about OKC bombing, not 9/11. Never mind people, carry on.

I had to do a double take, because it threw me off too.

I was in the hall in high school. I was about 3 miles away. I did hear it.

My father was actually downtown in the county courthouse which was about 2 blocks away. Fortunately, when the glass imploded into the courtroom he was in, it was caught by heavy curtains. He was very close though.

Noordin M Top, most wanted terrorist in Southeast Asia dead.

That is not the end of it, the government has made his life into somekind of gossip show to discredited him big time.

First, it's known that he has over 3 wive and the government is playing it up. Releasing news story that his wives are fighting over his body. Making it seems like a big gossip throw down.

Now, the autopsy report mysteriously leaked that he was once sodomized and has a tendency to continue to sodomized other people, with one local newspaper wonder if he was on Top or On the Bottom. They are going after this guy credibility as a Muslim big time.
