You mentioned not really doing community service yet. There's no excuse. Make sure that you're doing service for service's sake and not to build your resume` or get into this sorority. Service must be genuine. Some chapters aren't sticklers for this but I've always been. One of my pet peeves is women who did not do service until college, especially women who wait until the year or semester they plan on attending a sorority's programs. You want to be Fall 2009 (how do you know there may be a line?) but your service won't begin until the Fall. Hmmmmm.....
I'll keep the rest to myself. Only the opinion of the women in the chapter matters, anyway.
