Tonite was our first nite of Spring Initiation and only 8 yes 8 Delta's were there to support our Alphas! How horrible is that? I can't believe it. Our Standards chair was upset too, I mean everyone is there in the fall, what makes it not so special for the spring alphas? Had to vent thanx girls.

I don't know about your organization so is a Delta an alumna? If so, I can defiinitely understand your frustration. We can't even get the advisors to come. I think that is probably one reason that sisters become apatheic after graduation and don't get involved. So it's kind of hard not to critizize the collegiates if they aren't doing the ceremony right..after all, they have been teaching each other.
I know that for our chapter Initiation is required as well as diamond days and if you should miss w/o reason ( ie just didn't feel like going) there is a LARGE monatary fine, and initiation should be manditory event, PM if you have more quetions?!!
