Hi Sisters,

Tonite was our first nite of Spring Initiation and only 8 yes 8 Delta's were there to support our Alphas! How horrible is that? I can't believe it. Our Standards chair was upset too, I mean everyone is there in the fall, what makes it not so special for the spring alphas? Had to vent thanx girls.

That's terrible! I am suprised it is not mandatory for the actives to be at initiation.... It was for my chapter of XO.

I don't know about your organization so is a Delta an alumna? If so, I can defiinitely understand your frustration. We can't even get the advisors to come. I think that is probably one reason that sisters become apatheic after graduation and don't get involved.:( So it's kind of hard not to critizize the collegiates if they aren't doing the ceremony right..after all, they have been teaching each other.

I know that for our chapter Initiation is required as well as diamond days and if you should miss w/o reason ( ie just didn't feel like going) there is a LARGE monatary fine, and initiation should be manditory event, PM if you have more quetions?!!
