Some people dislike getting application invites all the time b/c everyone who has them sends them out. It's easier to block them so you don't get the invites. Being in a sorority has NOTHING with why someone would choose to block an application.
Perhaps it's because you take it so seriously? Why would you get offended that someone in a sorority chose to block the application?
