I agree about the mom (though I think she's probably one of the most supportive moms we've seen on this show). She should've have been trying to out-rank him or try to argue over who is number one. Ummmmm... the woman in labor is number one! Or even not counting her, the baby is number one and always will be.
On another note, there should be some sort of v-chip for overdue pregnant women. I should not be watching baby-related shows when I am 5 days past my due date. Maternity leave started this week, and I swear every time I turn on the tv Baby Story is on, or I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant, or 16 and Pregnant, etc.

Yeah I legit would've slapped him in the face. I can't believe how immature he was ESPECIALLY when his girlfriend was in labor!

She named the kid Lyle (I believe the babydaddy's name was Kyle).
Did anyone catch the babydaddy saying "men just have a higher pain tolerance than women" why the girl was in the midst of a contraction? Ugh. I hope that kid gets one hell of a kidney stone in the near future as I have heard that it is the closest thing to labor pains.

Babydaddy's name was Josh--the girl he was messing around with was Kyla.
I normally don't watch this show, but after all this banter, I just had to go watch the ep online. That was RIDICULOUS, I almost don't wanna see Jenelle's ep. Josh made me want to punch the screen but Nikkole was just so.....pitiful. She wanted him to love her so badly that she couldn't stand up for her mother or her best friend? I can't even imagine what she must've been feeling when he left her yet again. Girls like her aren't stupid, but she is definitely desperate and that makes me worried for her.

The scene where Nikkole and her 13 yr old brother playing RockBand was really touching, but more than anything it shows just how YOUNG she is!! Pregnant and 15? I cant even imagine my 18 yr old brother a father, let alone a 15/16 yr old...so sad. I feel for Nikkole, but she needs to become a stronger person for herself and Lyle...EFF JOSH!

^^^Yeah, that was really sweet. I'm so mad that her 13 yo brother can take care of her better than her 16/17 yo boyfriend.
On that note:
Dear Ovulation-Calculator.com
The 2-3 days before ovulation is NOT the only time of the month a woman can get pregnant. I'll bet some of the girls on this show saw that and used it as an excuse not to use condoms. Stop miseducating the masses--there are other ways to advertise your hormone level testers and cervical mucus checkers.
Sincerely, CG
P.S. Cervical mucus checker? Ew.

My best friend is 5 days overdue too! I think she gets induced Friday if he doesn't come today or tomorrow.

Stereotypical 16 year-old douche bag boys also don't get expelled from school like he did.

I may not be an LPC yet, but I feel like I have a good handle on the basics of personality disorders.

This was basically my point.

Stereotypical 16 year old boys also don't plead to larceny in a building (whatever that means) a week after their child is born.

Nikkole's lack of backbone was quite unsettling as well.
She seemed to not want to "make waves" with Josh and just let him do/say whatever.
Hopefully she learns to stand up for herself.

Watch the bonus scene on mtv.com where he threatens to break a chair over Nikkole's head. That's extremely messed up.
He was extremely messed up across the board. A five-year-old with a normal capacity for empathy would not tell a woman doubled up in agony trying to birth his child that men have a higher pain tolerance than women. That's beyond asshole -- that's sick. If Nikkole's mom had strangled him at that point, I surely would not vote to convict.

Once I watched 2 episodes from this season, I also felt that it was getting to a point where it's making the situation look "good" to teenagers. I cannot imagine my daughter getting pregnant and then expecting me to support her while running boys who are not capable of being fathers and who do not care in and out of the house! The girl would have to go somewhere else because it's not fair to get stuck with 3 babies, when you could try to get custody of and raise only one!

Is anyone still watching? Tonight's episode was interesting. It seemed like the guy (Isaiah) was really trying and the girl expected to do nothing and have him take care of her.

I have been DVRing this season and I am watching it now. This chick seems REALLY lazy. I need her to understand just how much this man gave up for her and their baby.
However, he is still making dumb ass 18-year-old decisions too.
