Why don't we have a Motto??

There are different sororities that don't have certain things for one reason or another.

Example:

AOII does not have a crest.
Tri Sigma does not have a mascot (we have symbols only).

Phi Mu has no jewel. I've always wanted one! We do wear pearls at recruitment a lot, but nothing official

. It's not the end of the world though...

Sorry to crash but Theta does not have a mascot either or an official jewel. Votes have been taken in recent years to change this but we overwhelmingly vote to keep things as they are to keep us unique from others.

I am sure that were Theta to adopt either a jewel or a mascot it would still manage to be unique.

(But I do understand not wanting to have something only because others do - that is why I don't worry about having a mascot.)
