No, she suggested what she thought you might want to do if you "want to go off on some racially charged tangent." A racially charged tangent is different from a racial tangent, it seems to me.

Well as you pointed out, the title of the thread would indicate that the thread would be about race.
I think the thread was already racially charged because of the original question.
