I'm glad your injuries don't seem to be serious, but you may be sore for a few days. Definitely see your doctor. Then have the adjuster inspect your car. He will probably recommend a preferred shop which gives the company a discount.
I was T-boned while stopped at a red light by a guy in an SUV exiting a gas station. He never got out of his car to check on me to see if I had survived! His only, and I mean only, concern was for his German Shepherd who growled at me when I approached his car to see if he were OK. So I got back in my car, called the cops and filed a claim against his carrier. I had my car repaired and they paid my medical bills, lost wages plus commissions I might have earned and a decent sum for my pain and suffering, which were made worse by his lack of concern for me and my injuries and his ill behaved dog. I'm glad the dog was OK but he needed to be enrolled in obedience school or at least Miss Manner's Academy for Dogs! So did his owner.

Nevertheless, prepare to get quite a few mailings from lawyers and chiropractors. Sometimes my brethren at the bar embarrass me so much.
Glad you're okay.

Sorry to hear about your accident! Last time I was in one, I, unfortunately, was the idiot looking at her radio! Very expensive lesson learned!!
Hope you (and your car) are not damaged

The only way you could have been severely injured or killed is if you were getting oral gratification from your secretary on your lunch break. Seriously? It was a fender bender. My brother rear-ended a roofing truck going 45mph when it was stopped and he was ok. Why were you yielding an intersection? How fast was the other car going? Obviously if you were somewhere that it'd be safe enough for you to yield the intersection, neither of you could have been going that fast. So I'm sure neither one of you could have been severely injured or killed unless some kind of freak incident happened during the accident.
Lighten up. Both of you are ok. You got the sympathy that you were obviously looking for. Move on.

Lighten up?
Seriously? Lighten up?
And why was I yielding?
Probably because I was:
1. Obeying the law and
2. Just a possibility that there was other traffic coming that I just SIMPLY could not drive into thus the YIELD SIGN in the first place?
How fast was the other car going? Uhhh being that I don't have EYES behind my head, I don't rightly KNOW!
Lighten up? I want you to put yourself in our places and
see how 'light' you could be especially if you haven't ever been there before.
I am cool actually and GLAD that I can somewhat laugh this off a bit.
BUT..You weren't there, you don't know what happened and your snark wasn't needed and would have been best kept to yourself.
Regardless of how much I may dislike someone, I can't bring myself down low enough to make light of a situation like this like you did.
And before you decide to go there, I don't plan on having an e-shouting match with you, if you want to be miserable, do so on your own time.

glad to hear you're okay.
when I read the quoted line I almost did a double take because I thought it said you were going to do some PCP in the morning. Totally different meaning.

A few years ago, right after I got my new car, some bozo girl plowed in to my car. She had a bandage on her sprained wrist and she was trying to drive a stick shift.. She had only had the car for a short time and didn't know how to drive one!

Yes lighten up.
If there was a yield sign for you to yield to, I'm guessing that you weren't on a major road and that the maximum speed limit would have been less than 30mph?
That was my point.
And actually had someone stupidly rear-ended me and jacked up their car and my car made it out ok I'd be laughing.
Posting threads like this is almost like the "OMG you guys are all mean I'm not coming back to GC give me sympathy wah wah wah".
I went there.
