I went to sephora last night and bought: Bare Mineral face fashion earthy chic, benefit girls night in collection, and stila's black liquid eyeliner. I am in love with all of them!

Hey y'all- 20% off and free shipping at stilacosmetics.com with the code "stimulus"! Wish I hadn't found out about it... I wasted way too much money on the cute new Stila Loves Barbie collection.

I got Clinque's Black Honeyy lipstick and am pleasantly surprised with it. It looks very brown in the tube, but when on my lips gives me a deep-ish rose color.

I picked up covergirl's outlast lipstain on a whim. the tubing and applicator make it look like a magic marker. the color selections are o.k., nothing new or unique but it's a good staple for my desk at work.

The make-up line E.L.F. (eyes-lips-face) has been bought out by Nordstrom and will be re-packaged with the Nordstrom name on it. They are getting rid of the entire make up in the ELF packaging. They have everything powder, mascara, lipstick, a mineral line, brushes etc. They are selling most things for $1. Some things are $3 or $5 and then some sets are still $15 or $25. You do have to pay shipping. The website is http://www.eyeslipsface.com/shop.asp When you check out there is a space for a coupon code. Use CAROLINA and save an additional $7.50 if your order is over $15.00. Shipping is $6.50 but when you use the discount code it's like you got shipping for free plus another $1 off.

The remover itself is OK but I don't like the packaging. You have to shake the remover to get the 2 parts to interact and a ton of it leaks out the side when you put it on a cotton ball. If I'm paying that much for it I don't want drippy drops coming out the side.

I really like Neutrogena's Eye Makeup Remover. It's relatively inexpensive, I don't have to go to a specialty store to get it, and it works!
I'm on the hunt for a new mascara. I've been using DiorShow religiously for the last couple of years, but lately it doesn't seem to be doing it for me My lashes suck, so I need something that give them a little vavoom!

Is it ridiculously poor quality or what?

I heard this about a year or so ago. Little Ms. Skepticism (read: aephi alum) hit the web site and placed an order. For a few bucks how could you go wrong? Well, you get what you pay for...
- Brushes: Good enough, but I did have to repair my powder brush with some tape.
- Lip gloss: Forget it, it's lip-repellent.
- Eye shadow: OK, but I prefer my MAC eyeshadow.
- Eye shadow cream: OK if you like your eyeshadow to live in the crease above your eyelid.

Their makeup remover cloths are AWESOME! I actually use them as my facewash - I have really dry and sensitive skin, and they keep my face really clean and balanced. They are also running a lot of sales on them right now, so I'm stocking up.

Can anyone recommend me a good translucent powder? I usually wear just a tinted moisturizer as foundation, but I feel like I need something to help it stay put during summer.

I just started using Mineral Wear - Illuminating Glow by Physician's Formula. I'm blown away by how nicely it does the job. It doesn't dry my skin out and it feels great. I'm so used to powder flying all over the place when I use it (I like the loose stuff) that I caked this stuff on the first time I used it. But even caked on, it looks great!!

I agree. I love anything by Physician's Formula! I use their multi-colored pressed powder, bronzer, blush, and concealer.
