Mady

If you will reread my posting, what I said was Mady is exhibiting bi-polar tendencies. When she is in a good mood, which is rare, she is a very cute, sweet child who likes to talk and laugh and interact with her family, particularly her twin sister, Cara. When she is down, however, she can be destructive (kicking her baby sister repeatedly, throwing things, slamming doors, screaming, crying hysterically at a much higher degree than a seven year old should be doing). The time to deal with this is now before she becomes more out of control and unable to deal with her frustrations.
I wish I had been able to do more for my step-son when he lived with us, but I did not have any legal standing to get him professional help. I always tried to be there for him, even into adulthood. Now he is searching for answers, one of which is why his parents never sought help for him when he was younger.
I am not a mean-spirited basher of this little girl or her parents. I am genuinely concerned for this child. To say it's all an act in front of the cameras is to indicate that there is rampant abuse going on. I do not believe that is the case. I believe what Mady does is real. I hope someone will step up and do what is right for her.

Paula, I get what you are saying. BUT, we all have to remember that this is a TV show. Situations will be edited to fit people into whatever title they have, the sweet kind, the shy kid, etc. We don't know if Mady gets agitated by the cameras, if she had an off day, or what. Mady acts like, to me, a normal 7 year old child. I should know, I have a now ten year old, and my daughter acted a lot like Mady does at times.
<--also has a BS in Psych, one year in Infant Special Education, and 4 years experience working with Kids with special needs. 10 years experience as a mom to a fantastic kid.

No kidding! Besides, no divorce court anytime soon. Jon would need to grow a pair first...
Or take them out of Kate's purse

So is the show coming back? Or are all these stupid multi-kid shows that are on now replacements?

Season 5 starts late next month. An Earth Day Jon and Kate Special does air Sunday, though.
This Table for 12 replacement just doesn't cut it for me. Maybe it's because the kids aren't as cute.

Complete snark, I know - But I really hope that Kate has her hair color fixed before the next season starts. Every time I see the more recent episodes I want to yell at her that she looks like a skunk.
(Maybe I need to go in the corner too..... )
