Two years before I actually pledged, a (then pledge) of the chapter came up to me and asked me if I would fill out a survey. The survey consisted of questions on what the student body thought was most needed on the campus. I asked him what this was for, and what APO was about.
Two years later, I was at a student organization fair, and noticed that I knew a lot of people standing behind the APO table. I remembered APO and signed up. I went through about 2 weeks of rush, with different activities, like volleyball games, sectional diner fellowships, info nights, etc where I got to know the brothers and more about what APO really was. I was really excited to pledge, and I haven't turned back!
