I came to this site to ask a question knowing that many of the APO volunteers are members here.

I've been interested recently in returning to APO as an active alumni and serving the fraternity in some capacity. Being in seminary I do have classes and other work but my schedule is comparable to that of graduate school and so I felt this would be a good way to give back some of my free time. My school is in Philadelphia and so I sent emails to the Section chairs for section 91 and 92 since they are both within my area. I used the addresses provided on the national website (sectionNNchair@apo.org) but have yet to hear any responses after several weeks.

I was just hoping that someone here might know who else to contact. I'd really like to help out in section 91 since I will be assigned in that area this coming year as part of my assignment.

If anyone knows some information and would be willing to help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.
Welcome! Lets see what we can do...

The email addresses are section.NN.chair@apo.org (note the periods before and after the number.)

The section 92 web page (www.apo92.org) is apparently way out of date, but maybe try section92chair@gmail.com, which is referenced there. The Region II website at www.apor2.org suggests chair92@apor2.org for the 92 chair, but just section.91.chair@apo.org for the section 91 chair.

However they also have more specific personal information for the Section 91 and 92 chair on the staff page for the region 2 website. See http://www.apor2.org/r2/?q=node/9 . At worst, that should put you in contact with former section chairs who should know how to get in contact with their successors.

You could also contact the Region Director, Michael Haber, directly at the phone or IM listed on the staff web page.

If none of that works, Let us know and the brothers here at greekchat will find the appropriate staffers, stuff them in a car trunk and drop them off at your front door.

Note, I had almost this much luck locating the section chair for the section I moved into after graduation. I've been on staff now for almost 20 years (18.5), so don't give up!

Sincerely

Randy Finder
