Congrats on intitiation!! I am pinning my mother this weekend, our chapter holds a mother's pinning ceremony during family weekend. maybe you can suggest yours do the same. It's a great tradition to start for a new chapter! I think if you wait to pin your mother during the ceremony it will mean more to both of you. mother's pinning is like a little way to share your ritual with your mom, kinda like pref is a way to share a little ritual with PNMs.
