First of all.. congrats on attending such a fine school!
Michigan recruitment is a fun experience. Recs are always nice but not as essential that they might be at other schools. The rush advisors are extremely helpful. You will learn about the Greek system as well as the university when you particpate in recruitment this fall.
Be wise about your new student social behaviour.. No sorority member is impressed with a drunk and obnoxious pnm who hits on the frats guys for a thrill.
Other than that small bit of advice.. enjoy recruitment and GO BLUE!
