Ahhh, this is the second time in this thread alone where you've claimed something that was disproven almost right away. Again, it is best to be armed with the proper ammunition when engaging in this sort of thing. Once is a misunderstanding, twice or more is just hysterical lying and possible blind listening to urban myths. $41K to incarcerate someone for a year? Hogwash! As has been said, oh, I don't know, 7298734923874 other times in this thread before though, not all welfare recipients use/deal drugs, in fact not even most, and those are the people the system was put in place for.

This isn't about dumping EVERYONE that receives welfare to the wayside. We are talking about the addicts that may be using government funds to buy drugs.

That's not just in Texas, libramunoz, that's been the national policy since 2007. You have to show a valid form of primary ID.

If a person can prove that they've worked 40 quarters via the Social Security Admin, then they are eligible for SSA benefits. 40 quarters = ten years. I think that's how that works.

Deportation takes a LONG time. Why does it take so long, does anyone know? I need to work for ICE.
