Confessions...

I confess that I met a nice guy. He's intelligent & has a j-o-b.
Unfortunately, not only is he a little on the short side but he doesn't excite me at all. I say I want intelligence, work ethic, and maturity because it's true. However, I just can't make myself like him romantically.

And you're absolutely right. You CAN'T make yourself like someone romantically. But you can keep him as a friend. Who knows, he may become a better friend than some of the female friends you have.

Regarding my straight-to-the-point-ness, I've always been an advocate of K.I.S.S. K.I.M.- keep it short and simple, and keep it moving. Also, I try to remain positive and optimistic because that's one thing that we all need at this time- HOPE. God is ALWAYS on our side, He just does things at His pace in order for us to continue to do what we have to do to make our lives- and the lives of those around us- better. JMHO....

Just continue to walk in faith and serve Him faithfully and you will be rewarded with the desires of your heart in due time.

ETA: I now know how to block "Dead Weight's" phone number and will be doing so promptly.

I confess that I was only able to block any incoming text messages from "Dead Weight."
I confess that Sprint doesn't have the ability to block incoming calls from his phone number.
I confess that I haven't heard from him since I blocked his incoming texts.
I confess that I don't have to answer any of his phone calls, and will no longer do so.

I confess that something tells me that you're on to something and that I should appreciate the person that he is & stop letting dead weight try to drag me back to the past.

I confess that although new guy is a great guy, I'm still working on some issues with me & getting past what I had with dead weight.

With that said, I'll just enjoy his friendship for now and be honest so as not to lead him to believe that I'm ready for anything more than friendship right now.

I confess that:

On Sunday, I cooked for my bf for the second time.
The first time I made baked chicken and rice.
The rice came out gummy because I used a little too much water; I don't cook rice that often.
On Sunday, I made BBQ beef ribs, baked mac and cheese and broccoli.
My bf and his sisters LOVED the food!!!!!! They said it was OFF THE HOOK!!!!!!
