Something interesting though...According to Jason's interview with People, he said Melissa knew that something was going on before the show, but then he says he couldn't tell here exactly until the show. He made it seem like it was over before it started....
I didn't watch the show, so I don't know how shocked Melissa felt, but still....The People interview will help you to see how much of an ass he is...

On the Ellen interview w/ Melissa, I believe she said (and I'm paraphrasing) that after the holidays she kinda knew that it wasn't going to work out, and she asked him repeatedly if there was someone else, or if it was b/c of Molly and he told her 'no'. At some point he just shut down and backed away and she didn't know why.
Then she was really surprised that they moved the ATFR taping way up.
When she found out the taping was moved, she asked him "Is there something you want to tell me? Am I going to be blindsighted by anything?" and he just said "oh gosh no!"
And then on the taping he told her it was b/c of Molly.
I believe she also said that she knew he contacted Molly at one point while they were still engaged.
But when Ellen interviewed Molly & Jason, they totally denied everything. Oh no! I was so surprised! I had no idea! I was staring at Chris with my mouth wide open! - says Molly
Jason also said he didn't contact Molly... BS.
