Yes, I understand that they're not the same school nor are they located in the same city nor do they have much in common besides being located in Texas. However, I also stated that UT is much larger. So I'm not acting out of line by stating that a drop of sophomores will be pledged in a bucket of freshmen. No, I haven't attended recruitment but I have read quite a bit of GC and am simply sharing what I've read.
Also, if there were a rule stating that you must attend the school in question, almost no one would be getting advice and almost no one would be giving advice.
I'd also advise any Texas PNM to get RECS. They're something that's standard at UT.
Sort of like applying to a Fortune 500 company. Everyone in the applicant pool will have an MBA, but that's just to get your foot in the door, so to speak.
