Not errands! Anything but that!

The show also deals with the issue of a gay pledge, who - though is legacy - he dropps out of pledging because his soon to be brothers felt betrayed and lied to, and he feels it wasn't their business if he was gay (he did not let them know he was homosexual until ZBZ Ashlee let it slip).

Erroneous. He dropped and then rejoined Omega Chi like two episodes later. Plus Evan kicked out the douchebag that made fun of Calvin.

do you feel this show is a risk management issue?

How? Is Evan gonna come out of the box and haze my pledges? Cuz that would be rad.

Would you be offended if someone though of your Sorority/fraternity in this light?[/B]

Well, it would be an improvement over now.

Do you feel this is accurate in the fact that, just like any organizations, issues in leadership arise, and nationals has to step in, (as seen in the ZBZ house where the orig pres wants to hide an issue from nationals and gets removed from her presidency)

I don't know, I don't care, I hate nationals.

How does this show put greek life in a bad light? Or does is create an accurate picture that could almost be helpful in the sense that college is college and people mature and grow and come across a lot of issues whether or not your in a greek house.
Please discuss.

It doesn't portray any of the houses because Kappa Tau hazes Rusty by making a video game. Fucking stupid.

It's as realistic a portrayal as "ER" is to Emergency Rooms, "90210" is to American high schools, and "Desperate Housewives" is to suburban homemakers.
The stories may be rooted in actuality, but they are often dramatized, exaggerated and resolved in 60 minutes or less.
It wouldn't be any fun to watch a bunch of fraternity men and sorority women doing study hours at the library or setting up chairs for a meeting. So the writers focus on packing as much "excitement" and sensationalism as possible into each episode. Do you not understand what ENTERTAINMENT is?

You got that right. I was an ER nurse for 2 years, when I was young, in a big metro *county* hospital. While there was some extracurricular activity going on, it was no way as exciting as on TV. I had fun, but it was hard work. We had actual work to do, like taking care of the patients.

Yep, and we had twin girls! Much later in life though.
I'll have to plead the fifth on McDreamy v. McSteamy. MrZTA72 was a pretty serious surgical resident. I, then, transferred to work in the OR, and the rest is history and happened probably before most of you GCers were born, hahaha.
