Being pregnant seems to be her "addiction" of choice, like those who have any other type of addiction. However, in this case, it seems that her addiction leads to children that can neither fend, care, or be cared for themselves.
This is a sad state of affairs. How this woman would think that others wouldn't have "noticed" her actions and her inactions, I don't know. She needs to go into a psychiatric hospital for mental health evaluation and her children need further care.
It's obvious that the grandparents are at an end as to how much more they can take or to how much more they can do for themselves or the children.
It's unfortunate that her "fix" was the desire to get pregnant, but at this point, the state is going to have to be able and willing to step in.
