I agree with the above on Carrie Underwood. I really wanted to hear her sing (to see what the hoopla is) and all I heard was the music.

I actually liked the outfit. Though the sleeves were weird-esp cause it was a short dress.

I was so looking forward to katy perry, and I thought it was awful. Too over-the-top for this year's tone of the show. Clearly a "wheeee look at me and my first grammy performance" deal. Esp because kanye/estelle went right after her and got the shaft.

What was that miley cyrus/taylow swift song? Was that some special bonding thing they had going, cause I didn't get it.

Anyone else think there are way too many performances, more than usual? And they totally cut out a host-smart move economically, but I definitely noticed it.
