Yep. Women are too idealistic
Too many of us make excuses for what is really obvious, blunt behavior. I think it's because we're not groomed to accept rejection the way men are...LOL.
But I agree, when I read the book years ago, it was stuff I knew already and used to tell my friends, but they'd never listen to me. Guy stands you up for a date? He didn't care that much. He doesn't return your call? He didn't care that much. He doesn't have time for dinner because he's tired/working? He doesn't care very much. If a man really likes you, nothing is going to stop him from seeing you.
