RE: Panoxyl...unfortunately, it is one of my things from Britain, where it is available over the counter. I've yet to find an OTC equivalent in the US, however I admit that I've not been looking very hard as I've got 8 tubes stashed in my bathroom. HOWEVER! the brand isn't particularly important. If you find a cream that's 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide (or however you spell it), it will do the same. Neutrogena makes a small tube cream that's 2.5 percent. It's supposed to be for "spot treating" but I use it all over.

Going to www.acne.org and following their washing/treating regimen is what tipped me off to the cetaphil/panoxyl/moisturizer method.

Actually, Cetaphil has a moisturizing cream that is of a thicker consistency made especially for dry skin. The one that I have comes in a tube, and when I was using it, it was quite heavy; I later found the "regular" Cetaphil which is much lighter.

I also use the face wash. The Cetaphil is good stuff.

I always use the one in the AVON catalog (can't remember the name and don't wanna get out of my chair hehe!). It's really easy to do the lining and you can make the lines as thin or thick as you want them. Also, it doesn't irritate your eyes because it dries and won't rub into your eyes like the pencil. It's really inexpensive and totally worth the try. I swear by it!

Cetaphil actually makes two cleansers (unless they discontinued one). One is stronger than the other. The one I think they're most known for is the gentle one. I used to use the gentle Cetaphil, but I found it didn't get all my makeup - especially foundation - off. I don't like relying on just toner to do that. So I tried the stronger one, but it irritated my skin. But the gentle is great for sensitive skin if you don't wear foundation, and you don't even have to use it with water if you don't want to - you can tissue it off.

For daily SPF moisturizer, I've been using Olay Complete SPF 15 for years. It isn't greasy and doesn't make my face look like an oil slick halfway through the day. And it doesn't seem to clog my pores.

My everyday routine used to be Clinique, and is now Estee Lauder. My biggest problem is that I can't seem to wear anything around my eyes - every cream I've tried burns so badly, I end up washing it off.

Helpful hint for the once every few months pimple you may get: white toothpaste. I don't know why, but it's gone overnight and doesn't leave a scar.

Another helpful hint (courtesy of my one aunt, who was a model): Watch yourself as you put on makeup. If you're making faces or lines or puckering your mouth, STOP IT! Relax, then start to put your makeup on again. When you make those faces, you create lines which will only deepen as time goes by.

Most days the only thing I wear is Olay all day moisturizing lotion. Mostly because my face gets dry in the winter and it has spf 15 so my fair skin doesn't burn.

I don't normally wear any other makeup.

I forgot to mention that when I do wear liquid foundation, I always mix it with my Olay Definity hydrating cream. I use two drops of each, and use either a foundation brush or just rub it in my (CLEAN) palms and apply it to my face.

It makes it easier to apply, feels lighter and is almost transparent while offering coverage.

Anyone else use powdered foundation? I used Coty powder and LOVED it for years. Now I'm onto Bare Escentuals, but I think I liked the Coty better.

I mix it up a lot as far as showers, hair, and makeup because I'm a total product whore. The only consistent things are L'oreal Derma Expertise Eye Defense eye cream year round, and Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer in spring-summer-fall and Revlon Eterna 27 in the winter or when my face feels particularly dry/pasty - which has been a lot more as I get (ahem) older.

I really dont wear much makeup at all ever. At most a little eyeshadow. Im lucky, I have VERY good skin. My cannot live without product is actually perfume. Goddess by Baby Phat. I wear it EVERYDAY. I love it.

I've been using Boots eyeliner and I love it - the brush makes it very easy to get the liner right along the top of my lashes.

I'm currently using DHC Olive oil soap, Bigelow Dry skin toner, CVS Olay-knock-off night cream, L'Oreal daily moisturizer, and the Neutrogena Exfoiliating thingee - not sure of the name. It has a handle and you put disposable blue discs on it.

I went out and bought the Cetaphil moisturizer yesterday, and I really like it. It's not overly heavy - I hate when I can feel things on my face, which is why I don't wear liquid foundation.
