sanjiyan69, I have quite a few photos of me performing surgery and dental work on here. They were too many pages back, so I'll post them again, plus there are some that I never posted. Well, you said you wanted to see them, so here ya go. Enjoy.

I'm really proud of most of these.

This teeth cleaning was done on a 12 year old dog who only had her teeth cleaned once (as I can remember). I didn't look at my case log, so I'm not sure if it was just once. She had so many dental problems, that I had to remove a few teeth. Here I am doing a thorough cleaning first, and at the bottom, is the actual surgery. I had to do a lot of suturing, here. I have more.

I posted this one before, but this is a mammary adenocarcinoma (tumor). That I removed.

This was a lab with an aural hematoma, that I removed.

I work as an on-call interpreter and I do a lot of the work in the hospital. Last week I had to sit through a pelvic exam and interpret for the doctor. I had to describe every thing doctor said to my client in Chinese. TMI.

A lot of non-English (Chinese) speaking people in Grand Rapids?

There are quite a bit of non-English speakers in/around Grand Rapids. This lady (and her husband) lives in Wayland, about 30 min south of Grand Rapids.

This past weekend I went on a trip. My husband stayed home alone but was out all day Sunday, so my dog was home alone (she is not locked up, but we just close most doors) My husband forgot to close my office door. She got into something which made her sick (she can open doors sometimes and figured out how to get into the garage and maybe ate something out there) she had really wet bm's all over the office and puked all over our bedroom. When my husband got home and attempted to clean, he pucked on top of some of the mess. Guess he's one of those ppl who sees vomit and has to vomit now.

He did his best but I had to come home and finish cleaning. My poor dog, there were scratch marks all along the door frame from where she was trying to get out.

poor pup! we've been there before.

this morning, my son had a massive diarrhea in his diaper. it leaked onto my couch. i just steam cleaned it to try to clean it. it still stinks. damnit.

Try Totally Toddler for Stain/Smell Removal and as a Laundry Pre-treater. We swear by it for our son and daughter(dog) It works on most stains even bodily fluids. Babies 'R' US and Burlingtons carries it and I buy it by the gallon. That plus a scotch guard keeps my house from looking/smelling like barbarians live here.

Some dog vomit is so gross that even people who aren't the see/smell follow type have that type of reaction.

When Lucky pukes, we need to get on it immediately because he tries to cover it up by eating it (starting a puke then eat then puke then eat then puke downward spiral of doom). The worst was when it happened to be coming out both ends one night and started when we were sleeping - didn't wake up until the smell woke us up and by then it was far too late (he was eating the D poo too, blah).

This is random, but is there some sort of release of information form for photos of people's pets' surgeries? It just seems kind of weird... I mean, if my vet took pictures for training that'd be one thing, but posting it on a message board... yeah I wouldn't be comfortable without a form.

/just uncomfortable with it.

I don't know if animals should be afforded the same rights as people. I doubt that Fluffy will find it hard to cope with life with her n00d pics on the web.

I'd be shocked if a release was necessary.

Yeah it'd be an owner's rights thing. I was just curious. If it were my pets I'd probably be upset, you know? More because they didn't inform me than anything.
