Yeah, I think this type of pace is pretty standard for new presidents. There's a lot of emphasis put on the first 100 days, so most if not all new presidents are a flurry of activity from the start.

As far as the health effects for Presidents - if you look at the before and after pictures, it can be pretty drastic. On the other hand, they also have the best healthcare in the world, and you see modern day Presidents living into their 70s and 80s, even later.
