I'm a freshman this year, and im nervious about rush. what to wear, what to do, & what not to do. normally im a nice out spoken girl, but under pressure i tend to go mute. if one knows of someone in sorority is good to say you know them? I'm just such a mess. Rush doesnt start for a couple of weeks i think.

Do a search, or just read this thread. It would help also to do a search of your schools name; someone might have posted some info.

Try not to "name drop."
Name dropping is asking the girl who is talking to you, "Do you know Becky Smith?"
If Becky Smith is in her sorority, chances are good that she knows her.
If there's someone you know who is like your BFF since 3rd grade, then it's fine to do that once.
But repeated "name dropping" is really annoying. The girls are trying to get to know YOU, not who you know in their chapter.
