My best friend from jr high was married before we graduated from HS, divorced that summer (I think)....married again a year later or so...again, divorced within about a year, and married a THIRD time by the time she was 22. And her mom didn't do anything to try and dissuade her from it!
I was raised
knowing that after high school I was going to college, no question. If I decided I wanted to get married before I graduated, the wedding and any college thereafter was on ME, and if I wanted my parents to help pay for the wedding, it would be AFTER I had a college degree.
