Finally done with my second day of open house round!
Snickers – I liked this house a lot, the first girl I talked to was very charismatic and easy to talk to. I also talked to the former president which was kind of intimidating but she was really nice and when I told her I wanted to minor in Spanish and study abroad in Spain she really wanted me to meet her sister that is/did the same; I felt like they all really liked and knew each other. Also, they seemed very open to everyone.
Sour Patch Kids – I came in excepting this house to be one of my favorites but the first girl I had let me down. She talked all about the things they did with frats and which frats they did them with. But the next girl and I really got along, we strayed from the usual topics and the conversation flowed well. The last girl I barely talked to but seemed nice.
Starburst – opposite of Sour Patch Kids, I was expecting to dislike this house. Thanks to one girl I came out presently surprised. They were more down to earth than I expected and really friendly.
Baby Ruth – This house really did not feel like me, the first girl I had gave me a bad first impression and it was hard to shake. Instead of asking questions about me she asked me multiple times if I had any questions about the sorority and I felt she left not really knowing me. The next two girls were a lot better but it was hard to shake the first girl.
Twix – I also came in expecting to really like this house but was not that impressed. The girls were nice but none of us clicked like some others and it defiantly did not stand out in my mind.
Kisses – this house was ok and I experienced a mix of awkward and nice girls, the thing I liked though is that they seemed to be very accepting and loved being sisters.
I am sooooo exhausted and extremely nervous about tomorrow and getting a new schedule. I had a hard time ranking my middle houses and am a little worried. As long as I am invited back to some of my top 5 I will be very happy.
