My story of sisterhood is quite long, and some of you already know it if you've been around Greek Chat long enough. It was just published in Delta Gamma's ANCHORA (our magazine). The online version can be found here:
http://digital.watkinsprinting.com/publication/?i=9605
My story starts on page 17...on the right half of the page, it's called, "She may have Died, but I am my Mother's Sister."

As I sit here with tears, I realize what a wonderful relationship you had with your mother and sisters.

I have read this before, but I re-read it and I STILL cried.

That is such a beautiful story. I was quite impressed with the entire magazine and the other stories of sisterhood. Thank you for the link.

I know this is old, but this is absolutely a beautiful story of sisterhood.
I'm sorry for the loss of your mother, but very happy you found such amazing sisters. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

Thanks UofM-TKE! You made my night. I can't believe it's been almost 10 years. Funny how time just keeps going.
Andrea and I are still dear friends...I recently have moved to MD (we were in England), and our first house guests in our new home were Andrea, her husband, and little girl! We went to the Maryland Zoo together and here are the pics to prove it!

And the kids (my two anchorboys and her little DG Legacy):
