It was FOUR YEARS ago today, on Sunday, January 16, 2005, that 41 beautiful & intelligent women were bestowed with the privilege to enter into a DYNAMIC sisterhood known as Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Innnnnnnnnnncorporated!!!

I am thankful for every day that I am a member of ths noble sisterhood and I can honestly say that there is NO other love that thrills me so....

SKEEEEEEEEEE-WEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

The chapter of my AKA origins just turned 40. We had a lovely celebration with the current and past members of the chapter this past weekend.

Thank you sorors! I'm so excited after spending this weekend with my Gamma Chi sorors, past and present. From Spring '69 to Fall '08, it was an absolutely wonderful weekend. I'm even more excited about my line's upcoming 20th year AKAversary in May!

Today is my line's 8th AKAversary and it feels great! I just can't believe it has been that long.

Youngin' stepping in...

It's been 2 years since I grasped at the light along with 10 other intelligent, beautiful, hard-working young ladies! Our pursuit of Alllpha Kappa Alllpha Sorority Innncorporated united us, and we haven't looked back since. I'm excited about many more years of service, and I'm so proud to be a part of such a dynamic sisterhood!!
