Ranking Set 3 Sororities for Preference Night

Why would you rank 4 as #1 if you can only return to 3? How would Panhellenic know where to schedule a PNM that was invited to all of her top 4?

I thought that if a PNM was invited back to all 4, that they could drop 1.

My school actually didn't have girls rank chapters like this until AFTER I graduated. So I could be wrong in my description.

When I was active, the PNMs didn't rank until after Preference (when they had to turn in their final cards).

Oh ok, must just be a difference in how different schools do rankings. I've never heard of ranking more #1s than the max number of parties for the next round.
