Just thought I would tell you a story about one of my chapter sisters. I have had great things happen to me personally, but I never knew anyone who got a SIS grant. Thought I would share part of her story. She had a brain tumor and needed surgery to find out if it was cancerous or not. She applied for a SIS grant to help with the cost of the surgery. She recieved the money and had a sucessful surgery. It turns out she does not have cancer but is struggling with facial muscular problems. We were there for her and several of the sisters drove 4 hours just to be there when she woke up from her surgery. We love her so much!! Just thought I would share her story.
