EW, there's no mention of Chi Mu in the latest (1991) edition of Baird's.

It is from 1969. It simply says:

From Chi Mu:
then has our Crest, our name, and the date. And that's all. Nothing else. It's in the shape of a shield kind of. There's really nothing much to it, it doesn't even say what it's for.

It could be a local, but I'm not so familiar with there being too many locals at Arkansas, if any.

Now Phi Mu was on around that time, so it's possible the ones who did the plaque got it wrong, but I just don't see them misspelling something so important and then letting it ride.

Overall, though, it's the bigness of the car that counts the most. Because when something bad happens in a really big car – accidentally speeding through the middle of a gang of unruly young people who have been taunting you in a drive-in restaurant, for instance – it happens very far away – way out at the end of your fenders. It's like a civil war in Africa; you know, it doesn't really concern you too much. - P.J. O'Rourke
