Hmmm...just out of curiosity, how many did FDR appoint? I recall him threating a bunch of the Justices when they said they were going to declare the New Deal unconstitutional.

FDR appointed 8 justices

Nixon, Truman, and Harding appointed 4 (to answer the question). Eisenhower did 5.

Who was the first president to have a phone in office? (His phone number was 1)

Yup... your turn to ask a question, but... I also have an interesting one... Who were the only two presidents to be succeeded by their fathers? (i.e. their father's outlived them)

Though you asked before I could post....

I am a little confused by your question, there are only two presidents who had fathers who were also presidents and each of them succeeded their respective fathers. John Adams/John Quincy Adams and George HW Bush/George W Bush

or if you are asking which presidents had fathers that outlived them (Which what I think you are asking....)

I could only find one so far....

JFK's father Joesph P. Kennedy died in 1969
