What are these "sensitive reasons"? Also, I don't want to see movies that "reflect the current financial situation"! I want escapist comedies! Think about the movies that came out during the Depression--a lot of upbeat musicals were made then because everyone needed to think about something else.
Ewwww...that's not good. Plus, the original plot of the book is a good "moral" to teach during this current financial situation. lol.

I wanna see Becky Bloomwood with her BRITISH accent, blowing money on her "must have" scarf and shoes.

I might have to skim the book again, but didn't Becky start off the book having a job---as a financial whatever in that newspaper? It seems as though from the previews she doesn't start off like that.

She worked for a financial no-name magazine then gave financial advice on that talk show and that became her full time job when she left the mag.
