^^ AMEN about the cliques. one of my self-proclaimed 'co-dependant' co-workers would rather sit in her car than eat in the cafeteria by herself. this is also the gossiper, btw.

Does anyone else have the cliques of people at their job who MUST go to lunch ALL TOGETHER EVERY SINGLE FREAKING DAY? I mean, it's like they have a chip in their stomach that won't permit them to process food if they eat alone or something. I guess I'm more independent than most, I just find jr high behavior like that by adults a bit ridiculous.

Hey now. If I'm going out, there are two people I invite along. If they won't go, I'll go by myself. We usually just bring our lunches anyway. We've been called a clique before by LABELERS like y'all. LOL!

The key word in your answer is "IF."

We're talking about people who no matter what, have lunch together EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

I eat with about the same group of people every day. The group changes when someone is out, has a meeting during lunch, etc, but it's a group of 6 and there are almost always at least 2 of us who show up to lunch. I do like to know if none of them can make it so I can take something to read. It's pretty damn boring to sit in a cafeteria for an hour with nothing to do. But, we probably look like one of those cliques. They are good friends and I enjoy having time to chit chat at lunch.
