Some woman's fool of a son thought it was okay to repair a car gas tank,
with a full measure of gas still in it, in the basement where the gas water heater (which had a
pilot light) was also located.
Several firefighters were injured when the tank exploded as they were trying to safely remove it (the injuries weren't life-threatening and the worst burns was 2nd degree, as they were wearing their safety gear). The idiot's mom apologized, but defended him by saying he didn't know gas vapors could catch fire.
