Great start, but how is your "taxi-lingo ability" in any number of foreign languages? Did you notice how Sarah seemed to be able to converse with every single cab driver this year? I never ceased to be amazed at her multi-lingual abilities, and it helped them get ahead on a couple of occasions.

A few nights ago, I had a dream that Nick and Starr already won. I got really confused the next day when I saw the commercial for the season finale. I thought it already happened.

I was happy for Nick and Starr. I didn't see Dallas and Toni at the finish line?? Do you think losing their passports caused them to not be able to fly home in time?

That is what I surmised.
Per MC's recent post, they were able to get their passport back the next day, but it would not have been in time to make the flight that the rest of the teams took to Portland. So even if they had come in third on the prior leg, there was no way they could have won the million.
Therefore, I am assuming they were on a later flight back to the US and did not make it to the location before the other teams did. Bummer.

What Blondie said. They got Dallas's passport back, but clearly not in time for them to get to Portland for the finish.

Actually, that's probably not the most efficient way to deal with it, except for something like Spanish, which would help anywhere in the Western Hemisphere except Brazil or a few other places. I think what a lot of teams have done is get to the airport and buy a phrase book for the language of whatever country they are heading to next. It gives them something to study on the flight.
By the way, NA, what languages do you speak (or, if you are like me, used to speak and with a little refresher could still muddle through)? I wonder what we've got covered so far -- French and German for me.
And I was so glad to see Nick and Starr win. But I'm already missing the race.

Agreed.
I haven't seen a brother and sister that close since Cruel Intentions. What was with all the hugging, kissing, and butt slapping?
