Okkkkk...so it looks like loads of people are interested in Gamma Chi. Several people have been asking "what now?"
If everyone's serious, may I respectfully suggest that we start organising the efforts? Here is my humble suggestion for a committee "sign-up" list of sorts. Place your name under the item you wish to help out with:
Constitution and Bylaws - Yes, Virginia, we need bylaws.
Officers - how do we select (see Constitution committee), positions available. I suggest having at least one representative from every area (NPC, NPHC, IFC, local, MCG, GDI etc...)
Membership - who is a member, how do we get members, designing a membership application...etc.
Ritual/Initiation - creating one!
Website - design and hosting
Outreach - creating a proposal for the suggested greek life presentations.
Philanthropy - to coordinate reports on Gamma Chi members' philanthopy efforts. Works with outreach.
Paraphanalia - Suggests manufacturers of letters, letters, shirts, etc. Perhaps the badge too?
Chapter Operations - loads of subcategories here. ktsnake...you wanna investigate dues?
Ok...I think I'll stop here. Feel free to add or adjust categories - my list was just meant to help some solid ideas to start flowing.
